The Department of English & CLS and its Alumni organized a two-day National Seminar on "The Impact of Nineteenth Century Women Novelists on Women's Writings". Shakespearean Scholar Prof. Rupin Desai, equally renowened Prof. Prashant Sinha and Prof. Prafulla Kar graced the occasion and delivered talks in different sessions. More than Forty paper readers presented their papers and more than seventy participants attended this national seminar.
