Know A Book Talk Series - KAB - Lecture 5

The fifth KAB Talk was delivered by the renowned scholar Professor P.C. Kar on "Moby Dick as a Time Binder" on 14th Oct., 2019. Moby-Dick; or, The Whale written in 1851 by Herman Melville is often considered - since the 20th century - as the quintessential American novel as well as the greatest novel written about the sea. Professor Kar through his talk explained the significance of this great work of world literature. The Department felt honored to present a new edition of the novel to Professor Kar who shared his happiness in getting it as he said that his own copy was lost to the termites about a year ago.
