Research Award
  • In order to promote excellence in research in higher education Saurashtra University, Rajkot has instituted Professor Dolarrai Mankad Award for Excellence in Research in the memory of its first Vice Chancellor.

  • Consequent upon it, original research papers published in the year 2008-09 on the subjects as shown below by the researchers of Universities and Colleges situated in Gujarat State for the award of Prizes of the Professor Dollarrai Mankad Award for Excellence in Research.

Student - Research Journal
  Saurashtra University, Rajkot (Gujarat) has announced the publication of its annual research journal Vak, and invites scholarly submissions on a wide range of subjects in various disciplines and faculties - Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Law and Management among others : The initial issue would focus on following themes :

1. Excellence in Higher Education.

2. Multi disciplinary Approaches and Science.

3. Social Transformation and Various Disciplines.

4. Comparative Indian Literature.
 

 

Teacher's Incentive Award Scheme
  • With a view to initiating some more healthy practices on the campusthe University has started a scheme nemely, "Teacher's Incentive Award"
  • It is a scheme for the teachers on the Campus to encourage them to do more and more for the institution and humanity. For this, we can have our own parameters which can make an objective and reliable selection of a teacher for this award. University can give this award of Rs. 11,111/- each to four teachers from the campus.

Criteria for the selection are as mentioned below:
