The Saurashtra University is one of the largest universities of Gujarat state in India. It has very vast campus admeasuring 410 acres. It covers five districts of Saurashtra region. It has been accredited FOUR STARS by NAAC, a National Assessment and Accreditation Council, formed by the Government of India. It is a 41 years old University.

Saurashtra University is located on 20.58 to 23.08 North Latitudes and 70.20 to 71.44 East Altitudes. It is connected by Train-route, Air route and Road-route with all the main cities of India.

Department on campus and 207 affiliated colleges offering courses in Medical, Law, Basic Science, Commerce, Management, Humanities, Arts, Music, Religion and Indian Culture.
